Sailing

Sailing. To be moved by the wind. A drop of water holding the secrets of the ocean within. The jewels of happiness and sorrow gently stroke the sailboat of life. In waves. To touch. To feel. Maintain my gaze on the horizon. To smile. Breathe in heavy, salty air. Transformed. Breathe out. Peace.  Alone in this vastness. Everything is within. Wanting to stay. And quench my soul’s thirst. The ocean thrusts me back into life. Breathe in. Breathe out.

Navegando. Movida por el viento. Una gota de agua conteniendo los secretos del océano adentro. Las joyas de felicidad y tristeza suavemente acarician el velero de la vida. En olas. Tocar. Sentir. Mantener la mirada en el horizonte. Sonreír. Inhalar el aire pesado, salado. Transformada. Exhalar. Paz. Sola en esta inmensidad. En el interior habita todo. Quisiera quedarme. Y saciar la sed de mi alma. El océano me empuja hacia la vida. Inhalo. Exhalo.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain

“En veinte años estarás más desilusionada por las cosas que no hiciste,  no las que si hiciste. Por lo tanto arroja las bolinas. Navega lejos del puerto seguro. Atrapa los vientos alisios en tus velas. Explora. Sueña. Descubre.” Mark Twain
